Isa Akram
IA Academy is led by myself, Isa Akram. I have international experience with over 85 bouts spanning every level of the sport — from novice competition through to Olympic-level boxing.
I began competing internationally at the age of 14, becoming part of Team Scotland and later Team GB, winning medals at major tournaments including the European Championships, and securing five national titles, british title, alongside multiple international gold medals. My career has included competing and training across the world, including Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, spain, and Argentina, as well as travelling with Team GB on multiple occasions.
This experience has shaped a deep understanding of long-term athlete development and the standards required to progress in boxing. IA Academy applies that knowledge to help boxers at all levels train with structure, clarity, and purpose.
